SERVICE & FELLOWSHIP

MINISTRIES

YOUTH GROUPS

The Middle School (grades 6 – 8) and Senior High Youth Group (grades 9 – 12) meet several times each month, usually Sunday evening for planned activities. Contact church office, 727-447-4504.

LUTHERAN WOMEN’S MISSIONARY LEAGUE (LWML)

Meetings for mission projects and Bible Study. Meet monthly, September – June. First Lutheran Church has two circles, Daytime and Evening.

LWML DAYTIME CIRCLE

Meets the first Thursday of each month at 1 pm in Room 10 of Fellowship Hall. A dessert or luncheon is served, a brief meeting is held, and a program is presented.

EVENING CIRCLE

Meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7 pm in Fellowship Hall.

ALTAR GUILD

Meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month, at 7:30 pm in Fellowship Hall. This group prepares the church for worship (communion set-up, flowers, altar cleaning) and provides fellowship for all women of the church. Contact Mrs. Barb Aliotti at 517-7048.

FELLOWSHIP CLUB

Meets the 3rd Sunday of each month, through the summer, at noon at Sunset Point Restaurant in Clearwater, for lunch and a brief meeting. Several outings are planned throughout the year. Contact Mr. Will Raddatz, 787-0583. (Currently on hiatus)

WORKER BEES

Men and women meet on Tuesday mornings at 8 am to complete a variety of tasks in the upkeep of the property and buildings. They meet in Fellowship Hall for coffee and donuts, followed by a devotion, then off to work! Contact Mr. Bill Spoolstra in the church office, 737-447-4504

Friendly visitation groups . . . Caring about people, sharing about God . .. Our Church cares about every person, especially you. We care because of the incomparable love of God extended to all of us in Jesus Christ. We share the story of that love with people.

STEPHEN MINISTRY

Stephen Ministry is grounded in Jesus’ command to love one another. Through one-on-one caring relationships, those who are hurting receive the love and care they need to support them. Everyone goes through difficult times, and having someone to care and listen, to share God’s love, can help you get through the confusion, stress, or loneliness you may be experiencing.

The 10:30 Sunday worship service is aired live on WWBA (AM) 1040 kcs.
